Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, public administration, or related field.
• Accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of financial record-keeping and accrual accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness to maintain positive vendor relations.
• Verify cash availability and perform payment selections.
• Produce data entry and GL coding for invoices for multiple entities.
• Generate AP aging reports and share with clients as needed.
• Notify clients of vendor discrepancies and ensure follow-ups.
• Resolve inquiries from clients and multiple entities via email and phone.
• Prepare use tax reports and submit to AP analyst.
• Assist in special projects and year-end audit schedules.
• Support process improvements using current industry tech.
