Job summary

Buyapowa is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The role supports daily AP processes, ensuring invoices and payments are accurate, timely, and secure while working remotely and independently.

The candidate should be detail-oriented with strong Excel/Sheets skills and experience in SaaS or tech environments. Remote flexibility and confidential handling of financial data are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable or related area.
• Experience with ERP or cloud-based accounting systems.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code properly.
• Review bills for completeness, accuracy, and authority.
• Enter and maintain accounts payable data in the system.
• Pay vendors according to corporate policies.
• Vendor statement reconciliation and dispute resolution.
• Support cost reporting and employee reimbursements as appropriate.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting functions.
• Keep electronic files organized and confidential.
