Placements24 is seeking an organized Accounts Payable Clerk for a fully remote role. You will manage the AP cycle, verify invoices, enter data, process payments, and reconcile statements from anywhere.

The ideal candidate has solid experience with AP processes, is detail oriented, and can work independently in a virtual environment, supporting our finance team in timely payments and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP Business One) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system and prepare payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized filing system for AP documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to AP.
