Job summary

Perimeter is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Specialist to support our Accounts Payable function in a remote capacity. You will ensure vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining clean financial records in NetSuite.

This role offers flexibility with 20–25 hours per week and is ideal for an experienced AP professional in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in NetSuite (or equivalent ERP) is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoice processing.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles related to AP and expense management.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payments accurately from receipt to payment.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify correct GL coding prior to approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Verify expense reports are accurate, coded correctly, and supported by receipts.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready AP records in NetSuite.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues promptly.
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
