FMS INC. in Tulsa, OK is seeking an organized Accounting Specialist to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial records in QuickBooks. You will track expenses, prepare invoices, reconcile bank accounts, and coordinate with our outside accounting firm for tax prep and monthly/year-end reporting.

The role requires two years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and strong attention to detail with confidential information.

Qualifications

• Two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience including A/P and A/R.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Understanding of accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and chart of accounts.
• Ability to read and interpret P&L, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Experience coordinating with outside accounting firm or CPA.
• Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings to executives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
• Professional communication and discretion with confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable: code, enter invoices and schedule payments.
• Process accounts receivable: invoice, apply payments, monitor overdue balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and reconcile accounts.
• Coordinate with outside accounting firm for tax prep and monthly/year-end reporting.
• Prepare executive financial reports and perform variance analysis.
