Job summary

AE Perkins is seeking an Accounting Operations Processing Specialist to support the Accounting Operations team in AP/AR and related tasks. This role involves hands-on processing and collaboration with the Director on projects and process improvements.

The position emphasizes accurate financial handling, adherence to regulations, and teamwork across internal departments. A training period is conducted in-person in Carrollton, TX after onboarding, with remote work available subsequently.

Qualifications

• Experience with core AP/AR processes and financial controls.
• Ability to read financial ledgers and understand banking operations.
• Proficiency with banking websites and financial systems.
• Excellent communication across internal teams and external entities.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Receivable support including ticketing queues and collections.
• Bank lockbox processing and timely application of funds.
• Handle exception funding and discrepancies to resolution.
• Oversee HSA and COBRA processing in compliance with policies.
• Execute stop payments and support project initiatives with the Director.
