Job summary

Ameriflex is seeking an Accounting Operations Processing Specialist to support our Accounting Operations team in day-to-day financial processes and collaborate on projects with the Director of Accounting Operations.

You will engage in accounts payable/receivable, bank lockbox processing, exception funding, HSA and COBRA processing, and related tasks while upholding internal controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with third-party administrator (TPA) workflows is preferred.
• Strong grasp of financial ledgers and banking operations.
• Ability to navigate banking websites and financial software with ease.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and able to resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and collections.
• Manage bank lockbox processing activities and fund application.
• Handle exception funding and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee HSA transactions in compliance with policies.
• Oversee COBRA payments and communications.
• Execute stop payments and document accordingly.
• Support special projects and process improvements with the Director.
