Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst to optimize AR/AP data, improve processes, and support month-end close, reporting to the Assistant Controller. The role emphasizes data-driven insights, controls, and cross-functional collaboration across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Purchasing and Logistics.

The position offers fully remote work, a 9-to-5 ET schedule, and the opportunity to influence processes and reporting for a rapidly growing consumer products company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis, accounting operations or inventory accounting experience.
• Strong AR and AP knowledge and understanding of inventory accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, large-data analysis).
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• ERP experience, ideally SAP Business ByDesign or similar platform, preferred.
• Consumer products, manufacturing, distribution or high-volume accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AR and AP data to identify trends, exceptions, discrepancies and process improvement opportunities.
• Monitor AR aging, deductions, violations, returns, holdbacks, unapplied cash and open items.
• Review AP aging, vendor balances, invoice activity, coding and payment trends.
• Investigate WIP, GRIR, in-transit inventory, purchasing variances and valuation discrepancies.
• Audit transactions for coding accuracy, recurring errors and control gaps.
• Research root causes and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.
• Build recurring reports, dashboards, KPIs and management summaries.
• Recommend process improvements, controls and automation opportunities.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries and audits.
