Handsome Homebuyer seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function across multiple entities. This remote position in the Eastern Time Zone reports to the VP of Finance and will own the general ledger, month-end close, and internal controls.

You will drive process improvements, supervise the A/P function, and help transition activities from an outsourced provider to a scalable internal model while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Mansioni

• Lead monthly close across multiple legal entities.
• Maintain GL integrity including reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Develop close calendar, checklists, and escalation process.
• Supervise AP Specialist and ensure backups.
• Implement P2P controls and vendor processes.
• Reconcile property-management activity and intercompany balances.
• Partner with VP of Finance on monthly packages and forecasts.
• Transition accounting functions from outsourced provider.
