Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to lead the fixed asset and leasing accounting team, delivering accurate financial information across divisions. The position is remote anywhere in the U.S.

(except Hawaii or territories), with responsibilities including lease classifications, CoStar and Blackline processing, and facilitating SOX controls. The role requires 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, leadership experience preferred, and strong MS Office/GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of leading projects or people preferred.
• Advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Prioritization/Organization/Multi-tasking – manage own work and deadlines.
• Attention to detail with accurate, thorough work.
• Strong verbal & written communications.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with complex information.
• Independent thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to ensure timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close for leases.
• Manage lease entries, reconciliations and rollforwards (Blackline).
• Exports from CoStar for journal entries and SOX tie-out.
• Monthly fleet funding and lease payment tie outs.
• Quarterly rollforwards and schedule supports for Analytics Deck.
• Annual lease footnote preparation for 10-K disclosure.
• Oversee lease classification/loading into CoStar and maintenance.
• Travel minimal.
