Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. The role involves mentoring a small accounting team, maintaining internal controls, and collaborating with the Controller and CFO on risk management.

The position is remote within Lumelight-approved states, with a standard 40-hour work week, and requires strong Excel and NetSuite proficiency to drive financial planning, reporting, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Public accounting or audit experience a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain strong internal controls.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Support Controllers and CFO in risk identification and mitigation.
• Mentor and lead a small accounting team and document processes.
