Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the finance team, oversee daily accounting operations, and support GAAP-compliant reporting. The role focuses on accuracy, internal controls, and process improvements, with leadership of a small accounting team.

The position is remote within Lumelight-approved states, with typical hours Monday–Friday and opportunities to contribute to audits and multi-state operations. CPA-eligible candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze complex transactions and provide recommendations.
• Proven leadership, mentorship, and team coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Support quarterly/annual reporting and internal controls.
• Review and post journal entries; manage reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Controller and CFO on risk mitigation and audits.
