Job summary

TL Squared, LLP is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Manager to oversee client engagements, lead teams of supervisors and staff accountants, and deliver strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in accounting leadership, CPA or CMA preferred, and expertise with GAAP, financial reporting, and client advisory services.

Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of pertinent experience.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and leading accounting teams.
• Leadership and talent development experience.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online Accounting Software, Bill.com, and Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience with small to medium-sized businesses.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client engagements, ensuring deliverables such as financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses are accurate, timely, and aligned with client expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, senior accountants, and staff accountants.
• Review and approve work completed by staff, ensuring GAAP compliance and adherence to firm standards.
• Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and profitability while leveraging workflow tools.
• Provide technical oversight for complex accounting tasks and drive process improvements.
