Job summary

Main Accounting Services® is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and mentor a growing team of accounting professionals in the United States. The role requires ownership of the team’s output, coaching, and ensuring compliance while solving client escalations with grace.

You will leverage tools like QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, Xenett, and Financial Cents to improve workflows and scale operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Business-related field preferred.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a lead, mentoring, or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in a CPA firm, CAS firm, or multi-client environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO certification preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (Excel).
• A proven track record of managing team performance, handling difficult conversations, and maintaining a positive culture.

• Champion Team Excellence & Mentorship: Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of accounting professionals with coaching and performance management.
• Drive Operational & Quality Standards: Oversee complex reconciliations and month-end processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as the Strategic Bridge: Align team efforts with management vision and firm-wide procedures.
• Elevate the Client Experience: Manage client escalations and act as trusted advisor to build lasting partnerships.
• Provide Direct Client Advisory Services: Develop the team to deliver high-value advisory support to clients.
• Drive Innovation & Scalability: Input on workflows and systems (Xenett, Financial Cents) to scale operations.
