Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in delivering outsourced accounting and advisory services to small and mid-sized business clients. This individual will manage client relationships, provide strategic financial insight, and support tax preparation activities.

Core Responsibilities:

Outsourced Accounting & Advisory

• Serve in a controller-level capacity for multiple small business clients
• Utilize cloud-based accounting platforms to manage financial reporting and operations
• Support clients using QuickBooks Online and related technologies
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic planning support
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Offer ongoing financial insight tailored to each client’s industry and goals

Tax Services

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals and business entities

Client & Relationship Development

• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel
• Contribute to business development efforts and referral cultivation
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Engage in professional networking and community involvement
• Uphold high ethical and professional standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA license or eligibility preferred
