Job summary

B Consulting is recruiting a senior accounting leader to manage the monthly close for a portfolio of startups. You will supervise offshore accountants, review outputs, and drive conversations with controllers and founders.

Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years of accounting — including multi-client experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and comfort with QuickBooks Online or Xero. Remote work is supported, with growth toward Controller roles.

Qualifications

7+ years of accounting experience including 2+ years managing or reviewing others.
Experience serving multiple clients or entities simultaneously; public or outsourced accounting.
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement presentation.
Hands-on ownership of a full-cycle monthly close.
Fluency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Comfortable leading client calls without a Controller in the room.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly close for multiple clients, generating timely, accurate financial statements.
Review and guide the offshore team's work product and outputs.
Handle reconciliations, accruals, and deferred journal entries.
Update financial models and cash forecasts with actuals.
Manage client budgets and engage in recurring client calls.
