Sentara Health is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join a healthcare finance team and contribute to cash management, receivables, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Qualifications

• Ability to process cash-related transactions and support reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and prepare financial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile cash-related transactions, deposits, adjustments, and accounts receivable activities in accordance with policies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for financial integrity.
• Perform routine account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Support audit preparation by gathering requested documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and healthcare finance standards.
