Sterling Management Services LLC is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a remote capacity for our US operations. You will ensure data accuracy, support audits, and contribute to GAAP-compliant reporting.

The role includes payroll processing, tax compliance support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong experience with QuickBooks/Xero/Sage is preferred, with a focus on precision and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience handling daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX standards is preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems and regulatory tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping, data entry, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets regularly.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flows, and budgets analyses.
• Handle payroll processing using ADP, UltiPro, or Paychex and ensure tax compliance.
• Assist with tax preparation and audits, maintaining documentation.
