Job summary

ABB in the United States seeks an Account Manager - CI to drive sales of low and medium voltage electrical equipment across the El Paso, TX and Albuquerque, NM trade areas in line with the division strategy.

This remote role requires identifying new opportunities, meeting qualitative and quantitative targets, and supporting order growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will travel as needed and contribute to ABB Smart Buildings' Electrification initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years sales experience or GED with 8+ years sales experience.
• Knowledge quoting and selling commercial, industrial and residential products to electrical contractors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry / ABB products.
• Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with customer focus.
• Willingness to travel within the territory.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Communicate delivery, payment terms, and general conditions per ABB offering and strategy.
• Drive marketing activities and convey value proposition to customers.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities in the designated area.
• Manage sales processes, support cash collection and project management activities.
