Job summary

ABB is seeking a strategic account leader in the United States to develop and manage the data center-related account strategy across ABB Electrification. You will lead cross-functional collaboration, set goals, and drive growth while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate executive relationships, leverage Salesforce tools, and shape tailored sales strategies for key data center customers, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience within the industry OR Associate’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience within the industry.
• Experience working with data center customers is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the Electrification products.
• Proven ability to conduct market analysis and develop business plans with a structured, strategic mindset; experienced in building strong relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, and channel partners.
• Solid technical understanding of 3-phase AC power systems including, but not limited to: medium and low voltage switchgear, medium and low voltage motor control centers, switchboards, panelboards, and ancillary electrical distribution products and experience with quoting projects for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement account plans and SoWs to drive growth across divisions and locations.
• Drive Customer-Centric Sales Strategy: Understand key business drivers and risks to shape tailored sales strategies and targets.
• Build Trusted Relationships: Engage decision-makers within data center organizations, delivering comprehensive ABB solutions aligned with customer needs and profitability goals.
• Enable Competitive & Coordinated Execution: Monitor market trends and competitors, apply standardized sales tools (e.g., Salesforce), and ensure a unified approach to sales planning and issue resolution.
