OneSource Distributors is a part of the Sonepar family of brands, offering electrical products and services to contractors across California, Arizona, and Hawaii. We are seeking a growth-oriented professional to develop opportunities, negotiate with customers and vendors, and promote our products and services.

The role involves tailoring plans for key accounts, coordinating with specialists, and driving profitability in a remote/hybrid California market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university
• 5 - 7 years of related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Electrical distribution experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Business Development: identify, create and grow opportunities to drive long-term revenue and growth
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, and improve profitability
• Promote and sell products and services of OneSource
• Tailor a business plan to each customer's potential and market needs
• Establish and maintain a consistent call schedule based on profitability and potential
• Implement pricing plans tailored to each customer
• Coordinate with Account Representative and specialists to deliver timely information and services
• Resolve disputes regarding delivery, vendors, pricing, and returns
• Coordinate with Credit to meet AR goals
• Prospect for new accounts and introduce new products
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor market changes
• Engage with other teams to support company initiatives
