Job summary

OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive revenue growth across its California market. Remote-friendly with Riverside local availability, you will build relationships with contractors, identify opportunities, and coordinate pricing and services to maximize profitability.

You will negotiate with customers and vendors, tailor plans for each account, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely information and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
• 5–7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Electrical/industrial distribution experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow opportunities to drive long-term revenue.
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders and improve profitability.
• Promote OneSource products and services to accounts.
• Tailor business plans to customer potential and market needs.
• Establish a consistent call schedule based on profitability.
• Coordinate pricing plans and ensure timely information delivery to customers.
• Resolve disputes regarding delivery, pricing, and returns.

What you will do:

• Business Development. strategically identifying, creating and growing opportunities that drive long term revenue and business growth.
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and ensure that each customer uses OneSource as their primary source of material
• Promote and sell the people, products, and services of OneSource
• Tailor a business plan that is appropriate to each customer’s business potential and market needs.
• Establish and maintain a consistent call schedule based upon the profitability and future potential of assigned accounts
• Implement an effective pricing plan tailored to each customer
• Coordinate and plan with the Account Representative and all other specialists to ensure the customer is receiving the information and services needed in a timely fashion
• Resolve customer disputes concerning delivery, vendors, pricing, and returns in a timely manner
• Coordinate the efforts of the Credit department by obtaining the accounts receivable goals of the organization
• Prospect for new accounts as applicable
• Introducing and demonstrating new products to accounts
• Analyze changes in market conditions as they apply to the territory
• Develop good working relationships with all specialists and support personnel
• Support the branch strategy and mission of "Employer of Choice" which also aligns with the overall Company strategic plan; support Company initiatives through day-to-day actions

What you will bring:

• Electrical,Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
• 5 - 7 years of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Location: Remote, local to the Riverside area

Salary Range:

• This is an exempt position that pays an annual base salary of $155,000.00 - $200,000.00. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. This position is compensated under a commission-based pay plan. Actual earnings are based on individual sales performance.
