Job summary

OneSource Distributors based in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a Sales andBusiness Development professional to drive renewable energy opportunities and support electrical contractors, utilities, and developers.

You will collaborate with account managers and branch teams, manage an active pipeline, and deliver technical guidance on solar, energy storage, EV charging, and related technologies. We offer competitive pay and growth within Sonepar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in renewable energy, solar, energy storage, EV charging, electrical distribution, electrical construction, or related industry preferred.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and support renewable energy sales opportunities within assigned markets and customer segments.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with electrical contractors, solar contractors, and developers.
• Coordinate with Account Managers, branch sales teams, and leadership to expand renewable energy sales.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on project requirements.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide updates to sales leadership.
