LyondellBasell is seeking an Account Manager to drive profitable growth with existing and new customers across the Midwest. This remote role covers IL, MI, OH, IN with travel ~50% to meet customers and grow the business.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing and Technology to deliver best-fit polymer solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in a commercial role within polymers, plus strong communication and Salesforce experience to manage opportunities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific, technical or business field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a commercial role within the polymer industry.
• Cross-functional experience in the thermoset polymer industry in both Technical and Commercial roles.
• Willingness to travel ~50% of time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
• Technical expertise with polymers and material specifications.
• Strong communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new business opportunities with current buying accounts.
• Find new customers and specifying customers by networking and cold calling within the Territory.
• Conduct customer needs assessments to deliver best-fit material solutions.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Technology and Asset Management for growth strategies.
• Develop key account plans for designated accounts and OEMs.
• Maintain monthly sales forecasts and input into IBP process.
• Proficient use of Salesforce for emails, quotes, and call reports.
