Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in Texas to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business development. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis while leading a small account management team and maintaining strong carrier relationships.

Ideal candidates hold an active P&C license and 3+ years of experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and transparent communication with the team.
