Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business development. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and client service activities while resolving complex issues.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C licensure, and can leverage strong analytical and communication skills to deliver exceptional service and timely policy management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
