Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, service requests, billing, and coverage analysis while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

The role covers hybrid/on-site or remote work within ET/CT zones; requires active P&C license and 3–5 years of account management experience; opportunity for professional growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely workload completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies.
• Seek continuous improvement for team performance.
