Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines for a remote role supporting the Eastern/Central Time Zone markets. You will manage a book of business, handle renewals, policy administration, billing and claims, and collaborate with the IOA Charleston team.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license with 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, and is proficient in MS Office. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities; resolve complex issues with accuracy.
• Lead the account management team and oversee policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and negotiate coverages.
