Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, drive retention, and support new business. The role combines proactive client service with policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), active P&C license (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Renewals management: monitor expirations, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy and timeliness.
