Insurance Office of America is hiring an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate daily admin tasks, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy across policy administration, billing and claims.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management (or 5+ in insurance), a current P&C license, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business to ensure retention and growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals, submissions, negotiations, and presenting proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
