The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing and strong client-service skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with focus on retention and growth.
• Coordinate admin and customer service tasks; resolve issues.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals.
• Monitor expirations and renewals; prepare submissions.
• Lead the account management team and supervise activities.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals to clients.
• Oversee accounts receivable and collect delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely activity reporting.
• Communicate workload and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and solutions.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Pursue continuous improvement and best practices.
• Demonstrate IOA values and leadership.
