Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate daily administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy.

This role requires 3–5 years in account management, active P&C licensing, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Hybrid work is available with one day in a local office or fully remote for U.S.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
