Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy across policy administration, billing, and coverage analysis.

The role supports both hybrid in-office and fully remote options, with emphasis on strong client communication and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service tasks.
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle policy administration and billing activities.
• Renewals: research, submissions, coverages, proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness across systems.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Deliver proactive service and identify opportunities for clients.
