Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business with emphasis on retention and new business development. The role allows a hybrid work arrangement with an initial in-office focus and remote options for qualified candidates.

Your responsibilities include policy administration, billing, renewals, and coverage analysis, with a strong focus on service excellence and proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to retain accounts and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Ensure accurate policy administration and billing while handling renewals and coverage analysis.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data integrity.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team; drive service excellence.
