Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to retain a defined book of business, support new business, and coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities. You will resolve complex issues, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with carriers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, submit proposals, and negotiate coverages for renewals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
