Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business in a hybrid/remote setup.

You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, handling policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals while supporting the account management team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty license; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle service requests, policy administration, billing, claims.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Renewal submissions: client research, proposals, coverages.
• Monitor and address delinquent accounts and collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
