Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, retain clients, and support new business development. The role requires active P&C licensing, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in insurance brokerage.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with options for remote work within Eastern/Central Time Zones. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
