Job summary

MoveSmart Rentals is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage existing client relationships, retain dissatisfied clients, influence decisions, and drive leasing outcomes. You will be the primary contact for property owners and coordinate the leasing process from listing to move-in.

Strong candidates come from account management, customer success, or service industries and may have real-estate exposure.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in account management, consultative sales, client success, or related roles.
• Experience managing ongoing client relationships and driving outcomes.
• Ability to persuade clients, handle objections, and influence decisions.
• Experience using CRM/workflow systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple active client and leasing files.
• Keep property owners informed throughout the process.
• Confirm each file is complete and ready to be listed.
• Coordinate listing requirements with the partner brokerage.
• Monitor inquiries, showings, applications, and offers.
• Identify why a property is not attracting interest and adjust strategies.
• Recommend pricing, marketing, or property-condition changes.
• Present qualified tenant offers and secure timely decisions.
• Retain dissatisfied owners and sell relevant services.
• Coordinate documents, deposits, keys, and move-in requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM notes, tasks, documents, and next steps.
