Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Account Manager to serve as a trusted partner to clients, owning day-to-day engagement and coordinating solutions across teams. You will monitor performance, analyze trends, and prepare client-ready reports to support informed decisions.

This role requires strong communication and relationship skills, with the ability to drive service improvements and travel as needed to support clients and business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in account management, client services, healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships for assigned clients, building a strong understanding of their goals, expectations, and operational priorities.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for client requests, service issues, and escalations, ensuring timely follow-through and clear communication.
• Monitor operational performance against contractual commitments, key metrics, and client expectations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze performance trends and prepare client-ready reports, action plans, and progress updates that support informed decisions.
• Partner with Service Delivery, Operations, and other internal teams to investigate root causes and resolve complex service issues.
• Facilitate client meetings, business reviews, and service discussions while ensuring commitments and next steps are clearly documented and completed.
• Advocate for client needs across the organization while aligning solutions with Evernorth capabilities and business objectives.
• Use industry, client, and operational insights to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and service improvements.
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen the client experience and operational effectiveness.
• Share best practices and account insights with peers and provide guidance to less experienced team members when appropriate.
