Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, producers, and assigned accounts.

The role requires coordinating renewals, policy management, and service delivery while ensuring accuracy and timely responses. The position is remote-eligible (CA, NV, OR, WA, AZ) but may require occasional onsite presence per policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: manage expirations, pricing, proposals, and issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Deliver service excellence and proactive client support.
