Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines with a focus on servicing a portfolio of accounts and providing strong client support remotely within the Pacific Time Zone.

The role collaborates with the account team to ensure accurate policy administration, renewals, billing, and claims handling. The ideal candidate has an active P&C license, strong communication, and organizational skills, and can work 8am-5pm PT across Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and underwriting information gathering.
• Process tasks accurately within required timeframes and review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and support collections; maintain agency management systems.
• Maintain data accuracy across carrier and vendor platforms and monitor activity.
