Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts
• Work with minimal direction from an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer
• Independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems and manage smaller-sized accounts or those with less complexity
• Maintain policy management, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Process renewals, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and assist in policy issuance
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
