Job summary

DTN is seeking an Account Executive – Agriculture to identify, prospect, and close new business within the agriculture sector. This role focuses on lead generation, strategic prospecting, and building a strong pipeline to secure new customers.

The ideal candidate will have SaaS/software sales experience, a deep understanding of agriculture, and a consultative approach to engage C-suite stakeholders, negotiate terms, and ensure a seamless handoff to account management upon close.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in B2B sales or new business development.
• 4+ years in SaaS/software sales.
• Strong understanding of agriculture industry.
• Proven ability to identify and close deals.
• Hunter-oriented sales experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, networking.
• Ability to engage senior leaders and C-suite executives.
• Proficiency with Salesforce for lead tracking and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate qualified leads for agriculture solutions.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to close new customers.
• Transition new customers to Account Management after sale.
• Collaborate with Marketing to run campaigns and target opportunities.
