Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities across substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This remote role requires substantial travel to multiple job sites nationwide and collaboration with Technicians and Trainees to complete assignments. Applicants should have 1–3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and work from remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment per NETA standards.
• Enter test data into test report software and support field teams.
