Guidant Financial is hiring for a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to work remotely across the United States. You will learn the full process of administering, testing, and reporting on 401(k) plans, growing from document review to basic plan administration through hands-on training.

Responsibilities include client communications, document review, plan reconciliation, 401(k) testing, and preparing filings such as the IRS Form 5500.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• 1–5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with annual reporting prep.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and admin software.
• Run 401(k) testing and reporting in administration software.
• Communicate progress to clients via calls and emails.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration.
