Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Specialist for a fully remote role across select US states. You will learn to administer, test and report on 401(k) plans, reviewing client documents, and communicating progress to customers throughout the plan year.

Proficiency with Excel and office software is essential in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment. You will help prepare IRS Form 5500 and other year-end filings, educate clients about plan administration, and support the transition

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to work in a remote setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and able to use administrative software.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual reporting and government filings for 401(k) plans.
• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Educate clients on 401(k) administration and year-end reporting.
• Use filing software to prepare IRS Form 5500 and related reports.
• Communicate progress to clients via calls and emails.
