Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to support the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans from a home office. You will review client documents, communicate progress, and assist with year-end filings including Form 5500.

This fully remote position emphasizes accuracy, proactive client updates, and training opportunities as you advance in retirement-plan operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing as daily responsibilities.
• 1 to 5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience is preferred.
• Experience with reconciliation as a daily responsibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain necessary information for annual reporting.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and admin software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings using filing software.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration.
