Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to join our fully remote team. You will learn to administer, test and report on 401(k) plans, review client documents and prepare annual filings such as the IRS Form 5500, while supporting clients throughout the plan year.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of back-office financial operations, strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills, and a basic understanding of 401(k) plan structure. We offer robust benefits and ESOP‑driven growth.

Qualifikationen

• 1–5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, IRS/DOL regulations preferred.

• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare annual 401(k) government filings, including IRS Form 5500, using filing software.
• Educate clients regarding administration of their 401(k) plan and plan documents.
• Communicate progress to clients and respond to inquiries throughout the plan year.
