Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to work from home as part of a nationwide remote team. You will negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts, establish payment plans, and document outcomes with precision.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a disciplined, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain regular communication with management and team while working remotely.
