Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our team from a home office. If you have a proven track record in third-party collections and strong negotiation skills, you can help us meet recovery goals while delivering professional customer interactions.

This role requires at least 2 years of collections experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and knowledge of relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' finances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritise recovery opportunities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Deliver professional interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and policies.
